Project*
The makerspace is an indoor educational place that emphasizes hands-ons learning to develop STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) skills. The project will include a locked cabinet to store equipment, such as 3D printers, hand tools and USB drives. A portion of the budget will support city staff supervising the space during the hours it's open.
The exercise station will reside outdoors. It is expected to include a variety of features and equipment (providing opportunities for pull-ups, sit-ups, push-ups and more), and to fit comfortably on a space of up to 100 square feet.
